Note about the book:
This volume emerges from the ESA RN10 Mid-term Conference “Young Researcher Academy for Methodological Advancements in Sociological Research and Education – Resilience and Well-being in Academic Endeavours.” The conference brought together early-career scholars from a wide range of disciplines to engage in dialogue on the evolving landscape of sociological inquiry and educational research. Organized in collaboration with the Doctoral Students’ Union of the Maria Grzegorzewska University, the event served as a platform where young academics could connect across institutional, disciplinary, and national borders.
More than an academic meeting, the conference functioned as a collaborative space where emerging researchers shared ideas, confronted challenges, and built supportive networks. Participants explored methodological innovations, reflected on the pressures and uncertainties shaping contemporary academic life, and discussed strategies to strengthen resilience and well-being within research environments.
The contributions in this volume reflect the wide thematic diversity and methodological plurality of the discussions. Together, they reveal how young scholars navigate, critique, and reshape the academic world while advancing our understanding of the sociology of education.
