Note about the book:
EARLY-ASD adopts a cross-disciplinary approach, integrating expertise from special education, early childhood education and care (ECEC), and educational technologies. The consortium aims to strengthen national and international cooperation among institutions involved in teacher education, with a particular focus on preparing pre-service and early-career teachers to support the social, emotional, and educational development of autistic children. In doing so, the project contributes to building sustainable networks of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and capacity building across participating countries.
The book has been prepared in close connection with the EARLY-ASD Conference 2026, Diversity, Neurodiversity, and Digital Social Stories in Early Childhood Education, co-organized by the University of Warsaw (UW) and Maria Grzegorzewska University (APS), to be held in Warsaw, Poland. The volume reflects the scientific and practical discussions developed within this context and is intended to support the dissemination of project outcomes, as well as broader academic and professional dialogue on inclusive education.
